Well the King kids had their first broken bone. We actually are impressed we made it this long. On Friday night my wonderful friend came over and wanted to take the twins for an hour to give me a break(she is the best friend ever). Well about 20 minutes later she called me and said Audrey had fallen off the swing on her arm and that she is crying. She said she thinks it is dislocated and she tried to put it back in(she has done to her own kids before), but it wouldn't go in. So Bret took her to the ER and they tried to put it back in and also took some x-ray's. They said that it wasn't broken and that we needed to take her to an orthopedic surgeon ASAP. Well it was Friday night and so we waited until Monday and I was lucky enough to have gotten into one.
The doctor took a look at her and wanted to have more x-rays done right away. So we went and got more x-rays and brought them back(that is them in the back ground) and sure enough he told us that her arm was broken. In this picture the doctor had just taken off her splint from the ER and she didn't cry or anything. So of course I take advantage of a great photo op.
This is the doctor putting her in a temporary splint cause he couldn't put her in a hard cast with all the swelling. We are going to go back on Monday to find out if her wants to put her in a hard cast(he said she could have a pink one and she was so exited) or just another splint. I will let you know. But she is a trooper-even though she has a broken arm she has remained the same Audrey(I am still trying to decide if that is a good thing). It hasn't slowed her down at all and I think she likes all the attention from it. Oh yeah I am going to be posting some pictures of Corbin with another King kids first. One injury at a time.

Glad it's not slowing her down! Luckily, we haven't had any broken bones (knock on wood)!

thts so sad how she broke her arm i heard about it from gwen and how's malory's nail?!?!?!?i hope the twins get less injury than they've been having!!!

poor girl. I can't believe she is so calm. Can't wait to see a pic of her rockin cast. Look out mallory, don't make Audrey mad for 6-8 wks.
It seems like just yesterday, we were visiting teaching companions sitting in Shamma's living room. I believe we both only had one kiddo back then. Remember that? Now, many kids later and both with a set of twins, we meet back up.
